Vitamin A has many broad-spectrum uses, playing a role in skin health, mucous membranes, vision, immunity and iron metabolism. Nutritionists often recommend a vitamin A supplement if you have a low dietary intake of animal-based foods, like cheese, eggs, oily fish, liver, milk and yoghurt. Our high-performance vitamin A supplement provides 5000iu of a stabilised form of vitamin A called palmitate. If your diet contains little to no vitamin A, we recommend two capsules daily. However, if you eat plenty of the aforementioned foods or already take a multivitamin with vitamin A, one a day will be sufficient. We’ve provided our vitamin A in the palmitate form.
